Kerri Beeker - Director

Kerri Beeker has been OAI’s Director of Production since 2004. In this role she has spearheaded event management production duties for United Cerebral Palsy, Project HOPE, Center for Security Policy, Marriott Foundation, Volunteers of America and many other organizations. Kerri brings a deep understanding of production to OAI and her specific experience with event contracts, venues and vendors has resulted in significant cost savings for OAI’s clients. Creative and innovative, she is often charged with developing new event formats and fundraising opportunities for our clients- new programs that result in new revenue and generate excitement and build increased commitment from our client’s supporters and patrons.

Prior to joining OAI, Kerri was an Account Manager at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center and produced and coordinated over 200 events, including the World Premiere of "Sum of All Fears" with Ben Affleck, Morgan Freeman and Tom Clancy; the General Assembly of the World Trade Centers Association; and President Bill Clinton's Africa Briefing with the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Her dedication and hard-work earned her a commendation from the US Government - the building's owner. In 2003, Kerri was promoted to the company’s flagship facility, the new Washington DC Convention Center. While developing the operating systems and procedures for the facility as part of its opening team, she simultaneously coordinated high profile events such as the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, presidential addresses and numerous citywide conventions. Kerri is active in many professional and social organizations, including Women in Film & Video, The American Newswomen's Club, Washington Women and Wine and the Friends of la Maison Francaise. In 2004, Kerri was elevated to the Board of Directors of Women in Film & Video and was the Chairwoman of the organization's 12th Annual Women of Vision Awards Gala honoring Carrie Fisher and Brooke Bailey Johnson, the President of the Food Network. Kerri has also held senior leadership roles on the Board of Directors of the American News Women's Club, one of Washington's oldest and most respected professional organizations.

Kerri is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and complemented her studies at the l'Universite Catholique de l'Ouest in Angers, France. She enjoys returning to France whenever time allows. In addition to travel, Kerri enjoys fashion, golf, food and wine. Kerri lives in Washington’s vibrant Penn Quarter neighborhood with her husband, Giles and son, Cameron.
