OAI is located in the heart of the historic and sophisticated Georgetown neighborhood in Washington, DC, just a few blocks from the White House and our nation's Capital Building.
If you and or/your organization reside in the Washington Metropolitan area, the Metrorail system, Metrobus and DC Circulator Bus are convenient, easy and environmentally friendly ways to commute to the OAI office.
If riding the Metrorail: The closest metro stops are located on the Red Line (Dupont Circle) and the Blue/Orange Line (Foggy Bottom). All Metrorail’s accept the Metro SmartTrip card or cash; some accept credit cards.
If riding the Metrobus: The Pennsylvania Avenue Metro Bus Line runs buses throughout the day between the Friendship Heights area of Washington, DC and the Capital Hill area of the District. Those who choose to ride the Metrobus to OAI should ride bus number 32 or 36, and should exit at the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue, NW and M Street, NW. All Metrobuses accept the Metro SmartTrip card or exact change.
If riding the DC Circulator Bus: If you choose to take the DC Circulator Bus, take the orange route to stop 18 and you will arrive in front of OAI. The DC Circulator Bus costs $1.00 per ride. It does not accept the Metro SmartTrip card.
Free two-hour street parking is available along the neighborhood streets of Georgetown. There are several self parking garages (prices ranging from $10.00 – $15.00 per day) around the area, including one at the Four Seasons Hotel, which is located directly across the street from the OAI office building.
