Strategic Planning

OAI specializes in helping nonprofits and foundations create a roadmap for success. Whether a nonprofit is just starting out or has been around for decades, OAI strives to engage an organization through the strategic planning process in a methodical, participatory manner. OAI is available to assist with all aspects of the strategic planning process from the very first step of recruiting and forming a strategic planning committee consisting of leaders from within the organization and the community to facilitating the exploratory process. Board Development

A strong and effective board of directors is an essential element of any successful nonprofit organization. OAI assists nonprofits to build, strengthen and educate their boards of directors, enabling board members to understand and fulfill their responsibilities. Services include:

Development Management

OAI offers a comprehensive array of fundraising management services from fully outsourcing an organization's development functions to assisting with specific areas of fundraising. OAI works with clients at a variety of stages to identify each organization's unique fundraising needs and addresses specific strategies, taking into consideration each nonprofit's unique development landscape. Campaign Management

Large-scale fundraising campaigns are an important way for an organization to raise significant funds in a manner that complements and capitalizes on the organization’s regular, ongoing fundraising. OAI has a proven track record of managing comprehensive, high-quality feasibility studies for clients. Nonprofit Management

Event Management

OAI has strategically planned, marketed, managed and produced hundreds of charitable events such as galas, conferences, receptions, walks and retreats in more than 50 cities nationwide which have collectively raised millions of dollars. OAI manages over 20 large-scale events annually with production budgets that range from $150,000 to over $1 million, ranging from formal black-tie galas, award dinners and intimate gatherings at embassies and private residences to conferences, week-long community festivals and sporting events, such as golf and charity basketball tournaments.
