American Floral Endowment engaged OAI in July 2011 to conduct a development audit and craft a development plan to help determine opportunities for charitable funding growth.
Calling on OAI’s fundraising expertise and capabilities for outsourced development work, in October 2011 the American Red Cross in the National Capital Region engaged OAI to serve as an acting Chief Development Officer.
Knowing that the OAI team is made up of experienced fundraising professionals, in 2010 the Boys and Girls Club hired OAI as their outsourced major gifts officers.
OAI and Mary's Center recruited a combination of board members and current major donors to join this Committee. Once recruited, OAI conducted an orientation and training session to fully prepare this group to fundraise on behalf of Mary's Center.
The organization came to OAI for guidance and assistance in solving a key challenge – to create an environment where the Board and staff could openly and effectively address internal and external stresses.

In fiscal year 2008, OAI helped Kingsbury raise nearly $400,000 from corporate, foundation and individual donors.
Within the first six months of the engagement, the League met or exceeded every fundraising goal that was established through the initial development plan.
