Biography

Mary Kate Robbett joined the OAI team as a Marketing and Development Associate in January 2012. She assists in strategy, fundraising, development and event management efforts for a variety of clients, including the Arena Stage, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington, St. Patrick’s School and the Pentagon Federal Credit Union Foundation.

Prior to joining OAI, Mary Kate completed a number of internships focused on developing and implementing strategic communications plans. She has worked with Edelman Digital Public Affairs, New Media Strategies, Verizon’s Public Affairs, Policy and Communication Department, The Washington Ballet and the USO of Metropolitan Washington.

Mary Kate graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Georgetown University with a B.A. in American Studies, for which she produced a short documentary film and built a website detailing the experiences of WWII POW chaplains. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing the banjo and attending concerts and ballet performances.
