Biography
As an Associate Director, Nick works with several organizations on projects related to development, strategy and events management. His current and former clients include the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, the DC College Access Program, Washington National Cathedral and the Trust for the National Mall.
Prior to joining the OAI team as an Associate in January 2010, Nick was a development intern for Atlas Service Corps, where he helped to plan and execute a micro-giving online fundraising campaign. Before working at Atlas Service Corps, Nick worked on policy and communications as an intern for The Justice Project, helping to formally expand the organization’s geographic scope into a new state.
Nick graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a B.A. in Government and a minor in History. During his time at Georgetown, Nick worked for a student-run nonprofit known as “The Corp” and helped to organize a trans-African cycling expedition with a small team of peers. It was through these formative experiences that Nick grew a commitment to helping charitable organizations realize their potential. Originally from Arizona, Nick enjoys bicycling, cooking and exploring Washington, DC.
"We've worked with OAI for many years now, and the longevity of our partnership is no accident. They consistently provide a level of effort and excellence that, year after year, yields outstanding events." -Mark Donovan, Vice Chairman, Marriott Foundation for People with Disabilities
